D&D Homebrew

Welcome All!

This is the Dungeons & Dragons 3e/3.5 page of Aboleth Eye's Homebrew Projects
Presented here are all the D&D homebrew I've made over the last ten plus years of playing and running the world's greatest tabletop roleplaying game (and the best edition in my opinion)!

All homebrewed player options (classes/races/items/etc.) are free to use in your own games.  Please just credit me ( Aboleth Eye ) or share the blog as a resource if you use them for actual plays and streamed games!
As always, though this homebrew was made with D&D 3.5 edition in mind, with a few tweaks you can absolutely use this material with Pathfinder 1st edition!

And be sure to share your stories and adventures using any/all of these homebrew ideas!

Homebrew Classes

  • The Focus Witch - Sorcerer/Witch Variant
    • Practitioners of magic's source through a specific domain of powers, Focus Witches seek power and purpose despite their taboo reputations.  Whether they bind themselves to nature or darker forces, these arcane spellcasters offer a variety of boons and curses to those they come across.
  • The Gravedigger - Ranger Variant
    • With mystic powers relating to death, graveyards and the moon; Gravediggers learn to put down undead abominations and gain powers for exploring dark crypts.  They wield weapons that illuminate their grim journeys, such as combat shovels and lantern weapons.
  • The Valiant - Monk/Battle Dancer Variant
    • By the light of goodness, the Valiant uses elemental powers to force back the evils of the planescape.  They are beautiful soldiers in this war, battle hardened protectors and just as equally embodiments of virtue in the fight against evil!  Inspired by magical girl and tokusatsu/super sentai media!
  • The Celestial Warlock - Warlock Variant
    • While most Warlocks pact with foul fiends of the Lowers Planes, the forces of good and light have their own agents upon the Material Plane.  Become a beacon of hope, healing and celestial might for your allies in the fight against evil!
  • The Fey WarlockWarlock Variant
    • There are plenty of powerful creatures upon the Material Plane for the power-hungry to align with--for the Fey are as eternal and powerful as many a fiend or angel!  Use invocations of fey power and trickery, and bend nature to your will for fair or foul.
  • The SpiritualistWarlock Variant
    • Death comes for all living souls, and thus there is power to be taken by those willing to be a voice for the dead!  Manipulate your very soul and hedge out harmful, possessing spirits to maintain the borders between Life and Death!
  • The Dragoon - Ranger Variant
    • Chase down the greatest monsters and leap across scarred battlefields to drive your weapons through the toughest scales and hide.  Pursue your quarry without rest, claim a glorious death at the hands of the most dangerous beasts!
  • The Fiendknife - Soulknife Variant
    • Decimate your foes by transforming your own limbs into living, infernal weapons!  Emulate the Devil Hybrids from Chainsaw Man and carve out your own violent spectacle on the battlefield!
  • The Echo Knight - Prestige Class
    • Inspired by the archetype from D&D 5e, survive the dangers of the world by channeling what could have been.  Your potential is limitless, and you may overcome fate if you can stare defeat in the eye with a smile!

Homebrew Monsters
  • The Bean Sidhe - Banshee / Eternal Mourners
    • Observers to death's swift and tragic approach, these fey-outsiders linger where tragedy with devastate and fate has been cast.  They inspire dread and grief to all they see, and their keening wails dishearten souls for miles upon miles.
  • The Guivre - Tiny Serpentine Dragons
    • Nasty rivals to pseudodragons in the wild, these tiny draconids are flightless yet incredibly wicked and cunning.  Their venom nauseates their victims so they can ambush larger prey, while their unique senses make them prized as familiars to evil spellcasters.

Homebrew Races

    • The Licerna - Graceful Unicornfolk
      • A race descended from sacred unicorns, the Licerna are beautiful and peaceful creatures.  But they wield their magical horns and swords to defend nature from those who seek to perverse it's purity!
    • The Sparstones - Living Statuefolk
      • A race of living sculptures, the vainglorious Sparstones seek to achieve great acts of heroism despite their supposed humiliations in past failures in adventuring.  They worship the monstrous Gorgons as beastly earth goddesses, believing Medusa's blood gives them life.  They are proud, elegant warriors who seek glory, beauty and fraternity despite their stone body's limitations.
    • The Compendia - Living Spellbooks
      • Magic and knowledge are a powerful combination, and quite unpredictable.  Rarely, the energies of magical knowledge going unread or lost will manifest as a unique breed of living construct--the Compendium.  These living spellbooks pursue knowledge at all costs and have the potential to reshape our knowledge of magic itself!
    • The Novisnauts - Strange Divers
      • Where explorers fall forever lost, their protective attire having failed in its design; something is drawn to these husks.  A strange, shadowy energy.  It seeks to wander in these castoff vessels, in strange and eerie imitation of the lost explorer's ambition.  These shadow-filled suits are both full and empty; and they can be found in the depths of space, the ocean floor and even in dungeons lost to time!
    • The Alraune - Malicious Maneaters
      • Found prowling the deep woodlands, beckoning sweetly to their prey, these plantfolk are completely obsessed with the hunt.  Their mimicry is so convincing, you may think it is a dryad or nymph in front of you until it is too late.  They can endure the most extreme environments, and once they taste your blood they will pursue you endlessly as their next meal.
    • The Bonepuppets - Sentient Skeletons
      • Arisen as nothing but reconfigured bones, it is rare but not unheard of that an animated skeleton will regain its soul.  Given a new unlife to enjoy, yet typically hunted down and despised, these entities seek meaning and joy in their new states.
      • The Mortal Dullahan - Headless Harbingers
        • Born of vengeance and dreadful sins spilled upon the earth, these dark fey ride across the Material Plane inspiring dread and claiming lives as they wish.  Many seek to ascend as a true dullahan, the epitome of psychopomps, but others forget such lofty ideals to become masters of battle and slaughtering corrupted souls.
      • The Estran - Object-Head Strangers
        • Born from the collission of Chaos and Law, the Estran are truly one of a kind planeswalkers.  Their heads are objects embodying or symbolizing their one and only Purpose--whether that object is a computer monitor, a box of chocolates, a bloody sword or anything you can imagine!
